East Cobb is located between Marietta and Roswell and is in an unincorporated area administered by the Cobb County Government.

East Cobb does not technically fall within incorporated city limits. It lies primarily in the unincorporated areas near Marietta, and a significant portion of unincorporated area near Roswell. Cherokee County is to the north. Roswell is to the northeast with the Chattahoochee River and Sandy Springs are to East Cobb’s southeast.
Fun Fact
In 2017, the Atlanta Braves left their home at Turner Field in downtown Atlanta and moved to Cobb County. SunTrust Park officially opened on April 14, 2017 with 41,000 seats. SunTrust Park was renamed Truist Park in January 2020 following the merger of SunTrust Banks Inc. and BB&T Corp. to form Truist.
